Native Tokens

Two types of Native Tokens in Derby Stars

The final and underlying component of play-to-earn is the Tokens.

Derby Stars have a dual token economy. The governance token $DSRUN(ERC-20) and utility token $CRT(ERC-20) can both be acquired and consumed in-game, but have some fundamentally different properties and use cases.

The total issuance of $DSRUN token is 500,000,000, the maximum supply is fixed, and it is used for important in-game systems such as breeding and production.

The primary utility of $DSRUN is to allow users to engage with and participate in the development of the ecosystem.

$DSRUN would allow holders to propose and vote on on-chain governance proposals to determine future features and/or parameters of the Derby Stars platform. (the right to vote is restricted solely to voting on features of the Derby Stars platform; it does not entitle $DSRUN holders to vote on the operation and management of Neo Racing Factory Limited (“Company”), its affiliates, or their assets or the disposition of such assets to token holders, or select the board of directors of these entities, or determine the development direction of these entities, does not constitute any equity interest in any of these entities or any collective investment scheme; the arrangement is not intended to be any form of joint venture or partnership)

It is the community members which would maintain and drive development of the Derby Stars platform, so $DSRUN incentives would need to be distributed to compensate such community members for their time, expertise and effort.

Finally, there are no limits to the supply of $CRT tokens, but they cannot be traded or transferred, limiting their use to in-game currency only. $CRT can be earned through Training Mode, PvP Competitions and other events. They are used in Breeding, Crafting and PvP Competition as the default currency.
