Wherewithal for contingency

13% of the token supply issued by Derby Stars will be used as a reserve fund to deal with emergencies, sudden cost spikes, and unexpected problems after the game launch.

Reserve funds are issued every week for 3 years, but they are not directly supplied to the market.

If there are no emergencies and Tokens are unused, they will be safely stored in the Reserve Pool, and if there are Tokens that have no where to be spent, they will be either used elsewhere or incinerated according to the Community Governance and DAO’s decisions.

The reserve allocation is something that could potentially be decided by the governance council after the successful transition into DAO.
